Dodger Stadium
Dodger Stadium
Los Angeles Dodgers, Levy Restaurants, 2013
Opened in 1962, Dodger Stadium is the third oldest, continuously used park in the MLB with its own very distinctive West coast aesthetic. Working with famed urban planner Janet Marie Smith, we helped to improve visitor circulation and designed everything from wayfinding signage, murals, and sponsorship ads to team history displays, family-friendly fan areas and concessions. We revisited historic typefaces, the stadium’s original colors and materials, as well as revitalized and incorporated the classic hexagonal chevron shape so iconic to Dodger Stadium. Now the 2nd most Instagrammed location on Earth, Dodger Stadium boasts a fan experience that fits it’s dramatic location overlooking downtown LA.

“Since 2013 Dodger Stadium has been ranked one of the ‘most-instagrammed’ locations in the world, and we feel that is due in no small part to the visual interest that Ashton Design brought to our projects. There is not a photo taken by a fan that doesn’t have something in it that the design team touched.”
